I first started practising Yoga over 12 years ago, it was a natural progression following many years of dance training in my youth. However, in my early 20's my other passion took over and I pursued a successful career within the fashion industry for many years but during this time, movement and dance were my escape, a world where I could just “be”. I attended regular Yoga classes and found they were my sanctuary and my practise deepened further over the years, it was no longer just about keeping my body in good shape and staying healthy, something had changed in my mind – I was calmer, I was clearer in my thoughts and it helped me to deal with life in a whole new way.
I eventually made the decision to train to become a Yoga Teacher and following my training with Yoga London, I became an accredited 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher in 2017. I specialise in Vinyasa Flow, modified Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha styles, with a focus on energising the body & mind & core strengthening techniques.  I also incorporate relaxation and meditation techniques in to all of my classes offering you a balanced and dynamic Vinyasa Flow Yoga class, which follows the Ashtanga principles of alignment with the connection of the breath and movement of Vinyasa Flow. My classes will allow you to work your body, clear your mind and help you to develop your yoga practise further week by week.
I am known for my passion, dedication, caring yet dynamic instructing style that embodies physical, spiritual, and mental strength. I hope to be able to share my love of yoga with you and look forward to welcoming you to my classes here at Yoga Yoga Ongar.
