Relax & Renew® Restorative Yoga Workshop with Aslihan. Treat yourself to some deep rest during one of the busiest months of the year.

We work very hard in our lives, and while we may sleep, we rarely take time to rest. Restorative yoga postures help us learn to relax and rest deeply and completely. During deep relaxation, all the organ systems of the body are benefited. A few of the measurable results of relaxation are the reduction of blood pressure and the improvement of immune function, as well as improvement in digestion, fertility, elimination and the reduction of muscle tension and general fatigue.

Restorative yoga is an active conscious relaxation practice. It is neither stretching nor strengthening but very much opening, and intense in terms of creating ease and softness in your body physically, mentally and emotionally. It is a form of Yoga that’s scientifically aims your Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS) to artificially trigger “Relaxation Response” (feel good & heal/restore effect) in your body and does not require any strong physical effort. During a restorative yoga session, we create positions of ease and comfort with the help of props to promote maximum level of relaxation and health. It is a very gentle and therapeutic form of yoga with the goal of conscious deep rest. Restorative yoga facilitates your body's own natural healing quality. Resting is not a luxury or an optional privilege you have, it is essential for self-preservation and a manifestation of your respect to your unique life. 

Relax & Renew® Restorative Yoga is a signature training and can be taught only by internationally registered teachers.

Spend the evening in our gorgeous new studio, with guest teacher Kryste Coe AKA Hot Pod Yoga Brentwood and DJ Axel Lewis on the decks. These two magicians will take you on a journey into your vinyasa flow to a soundtrack of deep trance beats and a session of deep vinyasa flow yoga. There will be flashing lights, body paint, lots of lycra, neon and a dress code of anything Ibiza or Ko Phangan full moon party!!

Expect to get hot, expect to get high on your yoga vibe, and expect to finish on your mat in absolute ecstasy.

8 Week Mindfulness Course

8 Sundays from 21st October to 9th December 10.30am - 12.30pm

An 8 week course in Mindfulness introducing students to the concepts of MBCT (Mindfulness based cognitive therapy) & MBSR (Mindfulness based stress reduction). Experiential learning through guided Mindfulness meditation exercises, group discussion and homework exercises. Looking at the latest scientific knowledge underpinning why learning Mindfulness is so transformative. 

Mindfulness Practitioners frequently benefit from the following:

Chill out Monday, yoga Nidra workshop. Shake off the Monday blues with this gorgeous Yoga Nidra workshop, otherwise know as ‘yogic sleep'. The weekend is over and it's time to be back on your weekly routine. Yoga Nidra is calming, de-stressing, and can help you kick off your work week with a positive attitude and a healthy outlook. If you feel tired, unmotivated or suffer from Monday-Blues, cheer yourself up with yogic meditative sleep (Yoga Nidra) and some other yoga skills which may help you to feel good, especially important for Mondays! No experience needed, suitable for all levels. Taught by Aslihan.

12 Week Beginners Yoga Course (Saturday Daytime)

Our 12 Week Beginners Yoga Course is a beginners yoga course offering newcomers a foundation and introduction to yoga postures, breathing and relaxation. This course runs on a Tuesday and a Saturday. Bookings are made for either the Tuesday or Saturday, if you're away or unwell and can't make a class we will do our best to accommodate you on the other course if we can.
