Balance on & off the matt Workshop

You must hold the balance by the intelligence of the body – by instinct or the sense of equilibrium – and not by strength. When you keep the balance by strength, it is a physical action; when you keep it by the intelligence, it is relaxation in action.
This workshop is a place for you to master 20 balancing poses (Asanas) and understand how we balance on the mental and psychic levels. You will learn 2 breathing techniques(Pranayamas)that can be practised at home and at work and learn how to engage with your energy centres (Chakras) when you needto boost any aspect of your life.
Physically, balancing poses develop lightness, strength, and concentration increases. They are included in most yoga classes and can be challenging to perform. In this workshop we will explore different ways of setting up poses that you may experience in your regular class. You’ll have the chance to use equipment or the studio barre to build awareness on how your body moves and explore how you feel in each pose. You’ll learn adjustments to suit your body shape, or modifications to be done in case of injury or certain health condition.
This workshop is a place for you to ask questions and take your yoga practice a little further. Suitable for all levels.
Tip before you come: have a light meal 3 hours before the workshop and bring a water bottle. All equipment needed is provided.
